BETTER IN KIT
Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. Rider stated that from the wide barrier he was instructed to ride the mare in a conservative manner, however after shifting behind runners in the early stages the mare refused to settle through the early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare returned with an elevated heart rate and mild lameness in the off hind. A veterinary clearance is required prior to racing or trialing again.
