9	4	BETTER IN KIT	Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. Rider stated that from the wide barrier he was instructed to ride the mare in a conservative manner, however after shifting behind runners in the early stages the mare refused to settle through the early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare returned with an elevated heart rate and mild lameness in the off hind. A veterinary clearance is required prior to racing or trialing again.
7	5	AL TINA	Slow to begin, losing 1L. Shifted in to improve after the 200m, however was unable to obtain clear running over the final 100m after becoming awkwardly placed on heels.
8	7	IGNITE THE FIRE (NZ)	Raced ungenerously through the early stages. Returned having cast its near fore plate in running.
1	9	FRANKIE DRAKE	Slow to begin, losing 1L.
