A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be showing signs of jaundice, mild colic and an elevated temperature with such symptoms indicating a viral infection. Trainer will have it undergo blood analysis and veterinary examinations in the ensuing days and advise Stewards of the findings. Trainer later advised that the gelding is responding well to veterinary treatment and has since provided a veterinary clearance to resume racing. fully recovered
