63DERBARIWhen asked for a comment on the performance, rdr std that with the moderate early tempo the gelding was not suited by the 1000m and as a result, when placed under pressure rounding the home turn, his mount was left flatfooted and then was inconvenienced briefly by rnr, which shifted in, causing mnt to lose some momentum. He further added that mnt finished off the race reasonably well. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
44REMLAPS GEMSlow to begin.
15ACCELERATOBegan awkwardly, shifted out and made contact.
26SIXGUNCOT: If begins well, option to be further forward; settled on pace. Began awkwardly, shifted in & bumped hindquarter of another rnr. Rdr std he had option to settle forward if mnt began well & in his view, due to its relative inexperience, has yet to have an established racing pattern. He std after beginning well, he was able to obtain a forward position whilst racing wide. Added his preference would have been to find cover early, however due to the manner in which his mnt began he was reluctant to overly restrain it, therefore he settled in a fwd position without cover.
97JUST A FLASHBegan awkwardly and shortly afterwards was bumped on the hindquarter.
59PEARL ROANFailed to show its customary early speed despite being ridden aggressively.
810OUR FINVARRABegan awkwardly and shortly afterwards was bumped, then failed to muster speed in the early stages despite the efforts of its rider.
