Approaching the home turn buffeted for a short distance and shifted outwards shortly after to obtain clear running.

12	6	PILBARA SONG	A pre race veterinary examination reveled the gelding to have an abrasion to the offside hip and was declared fit to start. Proved difficult to load into barriers. Jumped awkwardly, losing ground. Raced wide for a majority. Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. Approaching 1100m shifted inwards abruptly, becoming unbalanced. Must trial prior to racing again due to its barrier manners. Trainer advised the gelding would be spelled.
