22ALKALINEJumped awkwardly, unbalancing its rider and was shifted inwards across heels shortly after. Raced ungenerously through the middle stages. Lay inwards in the straight and was momentarily steadied from heels near the 100m as a result of the gelding being unable to hold its position outside another runner.
33COUNT GRUNDYLay inwards in the straight. Rider advised when attempting to correct his mount approaching the 100m, it had shifted ground outwards further than anticipated.
44CAPE CHOICERaced keenly through the early stages.
95SECOND CHOICERaced keenly through the early and middle stages. Raced wide for the majority and lay inwards throughout.
106SPECIAL DEALA post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be slightly restricted in its action in front. Trainers representative advised it would now be sent for a spell. Stable later advised the gelding was suffering from shin soreness.
87STORM TORQUERaced keenly through the early and middle stages and was steadied when improving onto heels near the 1800m.
78SPECIAL IMAGEA post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
69STAR SUBJECTRider advised that given the strong tempo, her mount which was racing towards the rear of the field was under pressure from the 700m to improve and was unable to sustain its finishing effort. She said that having regard to the manner in which the race was run the performance was not as disappointing as may first appear. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities
