6	2	AL QUEPONE	Raced eratically through the early and middle stages getting its head in the air when being steadied on a number of occasions and failed to settle despite the efforts of its rider. Momentarily inconvenienced approaching the 800m. Impeded for clear running over the final 50m. Due to its racing manner, trainer's representative was advised the stable must continue to engage the services of a senior rider for the gelding's immediate racing future.
2	4	WAR WARRIOR	Cast its near fore plate during its preliminary which was re-fitted on arrival behind the barriers and underwent a veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Held tight and carried inwards and bumped near the 1000m.
1	5	STARLIFT	Raced keenly through the middle stages and lay outwards near the 800m.
8	6	CROWN OF FLOWERS (NZ)	Over raced through the middle stages.
3	8	CHICK FLIX	Raced wide throughout. Shifted outwards abruptly passing 200m.
4	10	INAHAPPYDAZE	Bumped and unbalanced and lost ground near the 1000m.
