91STAIRWAYTOTHEMOONRider advised the mare was unsuited to the strong tempo of the race, however added that the mare had traveled comfortably through the early stages but became under pressure from the 700m and had failed to finish the race off strongly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
52ONYA HEADRider advised the gelding raced keenly whilst leading and rather than attempting to steady his mount he allowed it to stride along and maintain its rhythm, as in his opinion it would have been detrimental to steady the gelding through the early and middle stages. He further added that given its characteristics it may be better suited to racing over a decreased distance.
83SHADOW HUNTERRider reported that the gelding had a tendency to get its head in the air through the early stages when racing keenly, and he therefore attempted to settle the gelding and with the fast early tempo had settled further back than desired. He further advised that in his opinion the gelding was unsuited to the distance second start from a spell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
24ABELDANERaced keenly through the early stages. Held up from on straightening until taken outwards across heels at the 100m. Rider reported that she had attempted to gain cover through the early stages however her mount had commenced to race keenly and was improving onto heels, therefore she elected to take her mount outwards and improve its position through the early stages.
