5	1	MIKIMOTO	Rider advised although the mare had enjoyed a favourable run through the early and middle stages it had been disappointing in the manner in which it finished the race off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned lame in the off-hind. Trainer was advised that a veterinary certificate of soundness would be required prior to it racing or trialling again.
1	2	BELLA'S IDOL	Rider advised that as there was a lack of exposed pace he was instructed to ride the gelding positively and although he had not anticipated leading he was able to assume this position after beginning well and crossing other runners.
8	3	DECOY NOXIOUS	Raced wide for the majority. Bumped on several occasions approaching the 250m and bumped outwards approaching the 100m with the rider having to steady his mount shortly after.
2	8	BUCKTORIO	Impeded for clear running from on straightening and when attempting a marginal run approaching the 250m was bumped and buffeted between runners.
6	9	DISCOVILLE	Underwent a veterinary examination on arrival at the barriers due to the gelding striking the outside rail during its preliminary and was passed fit to start. Angled outwards across heels to obtain clear running approaching the 100m.
7	10	SLICED BREAD	Bumped on several occasions approaching the 250m.
