51JERAFTOver-raced through the early stages and raced wide until obtaining a one wide position from the 900m.
72LIKE A BUTTERFLYLay inwards in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination of the mare revealed no abnormalities.
33MIRACLE MANSlow into stride, losing one length. Raced wide from the 600m. Rider reported he was given no specific instructions and after only commencing fairly from a wide barrier and being mindful a number of horses in the race were on pace runners, he elected not to ride his mount along through the early stages and settled in a rearward position as a result.
84SALORSCIPulled hard through the early and middle stages and failed to settle despite the efforts of its rider when leading. Rider reported as a result this had been detrimental to its finishing sprint and in his opinion may have not been suited by the addition of blinkers over 1600m today. Trainer conferred with the remarks of the rider and his application to remove the blinkers for future starts was approved.
27REVEILLESlow into stride, losing one length.
