4SHADOW SHIFTERWas a late withdrawal when an examination by the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon found it to be shin sore and to have a small amount of mucus in its near nostril. Trainer was interviewed and advised that the colt had been working well leading into the race and had shown no signs of shin soreness or any respiratory condition, however he had not specifically examined the colt for any shin soreness since its last gallop. He further advised that the colt will be sent for a lengthy spell.
