212LIES IN DISGUISEFractious in the barriers prior to the start. Raced keenly through the middle stages when leading. When questioned Apprentice M. Clark advised she was instructed to either lead or be positioned on pace and as her mount had been restless in the barriers prior to the start she wanted to ensure that the filly commenced well, given her instructions, therefore elected to ride her mount along through the early stages of the race to lead the event where it then had commenced to race keenly through the middle stages despite her efforts. Trainer Mr B. Pope confirmed the riding instructions.
