92ENCHANTED DREAMMis-strode approaching the 100m. Rider reported that the filly failed to respond to his riding in the straight and was unable to finish the race off and was disappointing. A post-race Veterinary examination of the filly revealed no abnormalities. Trainer undertook to monitor the filly's recovery and report any abnormalities. Trainer later reported that the filly had pulled up well following its run with no abnormalities being detected and he would continue with its current preparation.
34HIGH CONVICTIONLay inwards in the straight, placing the rider at some disadvantage in being able to fully test his mount in the straight. Steadied outwards to avoid the heels of another runner over the concluding stages. A post- race Veterinary examination of the filly revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that he will now fit a lugging bit to the filly's gear in an attempt to correct its racing manner for future starts.
45GET OVER ITTrainer advised Stewards after it came to his attention that the gelding had a bone chip removed from its off-fore pastern since its last preparation and this information was disseminated.
107SHOW HONEY (NZ)Underwent a Veterinary examination behind the barriers and was found to have a small amount of blood in its mouth and was passed fit to start. Impeded behind the heels of another runner and steadied inwards approaching the 100m and thereafter raced in restricted room over the concluding stages. In relation to the disappointing performance rider explained the filly failed to respond to his riding in the straight. A post-race Veterinary examination of the filly revealed no abnormalities.
