12CHASERRider reported that after being positioned wide without cover through the early stages he elected to allow his mount to stride forward to settle outside the leader resulting in him settling further forward in running than expected.
83HONOUR THE ROMANImpeded for clear running from on straightening and was steadied inwards across heels approaching the 200m and continued to be impeded until approaching the 100m. Rider was shown a section of the patrol film over the concluding stages and reminded of his obligations to ride his mounts out fully to the end of the race.
96BOS TAURUSRider reported that his mount felt uncomfortable in its action on pulling up. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned mildly lame in its off hind. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again.
58CHEBELLEZAFractious in the barriers prior to the start. Raced keenly through the early and middle stages and wide throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to have returned with minor lacerations and abrasions to its near hind.
710MISS PONDEROSAUnderwent a Veterinary examination behind the barriers after being kicked by another runner and was passed fit to start. Lay outwards rounding the home turn.
11EYDISwas a late withdrawal by Stewards acting on Veterinary advice when the filly lunged forward in its barrier anticipating the start, when another runner had become fractious and then slipped behind and became momentarily cast before being removed by Barrier staff. Following the race a further Veterinary examination of the filly revealed it to have abrasions to its off shoulder and hip.
